What’s Goin On ~
WOW, where to start? There have been so many things happen since Dancing ended it’s been really hard keeping up. I have been traveling sooo much. I blog for several sources and try to do Twitter but i haven’t done very good at updating on my website “sorry”…I’ll try to remember everything that’s happened since my last update…here goes nothing :-)…
Mark and i got to dance at a fundraising event that Kristi Yamaguchi put on (i had so much fun doing that)
I got to go to the Young Hollywood Awards event (i received an award, what an honor, very cool)
I went to the Pediatric Aids Carnival (amazing event, can’t wait to go back next year)
I went to Chicago to do a promotion for the bid for 2016 Olympics (i pray they get it, how cool would that be)
I got to go to the Coca-Cola 600 Nascar race (rode in a car with my new BFF Kyle Petty, really fun guy, one of the greatest experiences yet)
Went to Kentucky for a gymnastics camp (got to help campers :-), also got to go to the Muhammad Ali museum and spend time with some really special kids)
Went to the CMT Awards (got to present to my favorite Taylor Swift, love love love her)
Went to the Iowa Corn 250 Indy race (got to ride along with Helio, talked about Dancing :-), also got to meet Danica Patrick, felt an incredible connection with her, she’s amazing)
Went to the Transformers premiere (so far my favorite movie and favorite premiere)
Am working the Hy-Vee Triathalon this weekend here in West Des Moines (very fun to do things close to home)
Leaving on Monday for another gymnastics camp (can’t wait, so great to be able to get inside a gym :-))
Wish me luck everyone. I have received nominations for Teen Choice Awards and the ESPY Awards. What an honor, i still can’t believe it. I’m sooo excited, i am really hoping i get the opportunity to meet Serena Williams, can’t believe I’m running against her, what an amazing athlete.
I can’t tell you how excited i am to have all of these opportunities in my life. There are so many things out there that i want to try and experience. I am so thankful for everything i’ve been allowed to do. I hope you all know how much you have contributed to my success and i truly appreciate all of your support and interest.
Well, i have to get moving. I am handing out awards to the kiddies this morning for the Kids Tri.
Thank you all for your patience with me and i’ll try harder to keep you all more up to date.

Sounds like a busy life!
there are positive things about having a busy life. You certainly travel far more than I do. You were amazing on dancing with the stars! I could never dance that well You have lots of talent!

I wonder how many awards you have gotten for your wonderful talent? It sounds like a crazy random unpredictable life. That seems to happen a lot with major athletes. I read your bio and it seems that you were born to be a gymnast. I hope it goes well in Iowa. That’s what your state seems to be the most proud of. oh my gosh, I was sooooooo excited when you and mark won on DWTS!!! My brother is a ballroom dancing instructor and we all thought you were awesome!!!! Congrats on all your sucsess!! You are such a sweet and talented person and i have loved watching you in all you do and can’t wait to see what’s to come next!! Hope to watch you in the next olympics!!! Love the website!!! You’re my inspiraton! I want to be a gymnast (i’m not a bandwagon hopper, i’ve always wanted to be a gymnast) what you do is the closest thing to flying! anyway back to the gymnastics you’re my hero, i cant do gymnastics (too expensive) but i love watching you, nastia, and alicia perform! i voted for you at teen choice awards and i reguarly watch your olympic performances. ignoe the boys on here asking you to marry them and such, you deserve much better. although i would love it if you saw my comment i understand how busy you must be with training and such. I hope that you get all around gold next year,

I practice with Cedar Valley Gymnastic Academy in Waterloo. You should come visit us some time! I practice on Monday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday evening and I would love to meet you (but I know you are very busy)!

After watching the Olympics I knew you were going to win.. I mean there is no better combination than having good steps and all the crazy acrobatic moves you do.. haha! Hope you have a awesome time traveling with your family.. Take care.. and I hope you come back to competition… PLEASE!
