Going Home :)
I finally got to go back home to see my parents and check in on my dog and cats. It was so nice. We got a 5 day break from the tour where everybody went home and just chilled out and got caught up on sleep. Out of those five i was home for three and didn’t know how much i missed home and how homesick i was until i was actually there. It has never felt so good to sleep in my own bed and just relax on the couch. I went in to see Chow and Li and all of my teammates too for like the first time since before the olympics and it felt so good. Chow let me help coach them for a little bit but i couldn’t stand it just standing there telling them what to do so i jumped in with them for a little bit. Coming up in a few days i am heading to the White House along with all USA Olympians for an honorary visit which i am so excited about. Ill make sure to send over pictures as soon as i can.

You did so awesome in the Olympics. You also so awesome in the 2008 tour of gymnastics superstars, I went and saw you with my teammates in Spoken,Washington. I’m a gymnast as you can see, and my season is starting up soon. So can you give me some tips on when I get nerves.

I’m glad to see you finally got a little break from all this magazine shoots and touring. Remember, you are a great athlete no matter what anyone says. hi shawn i know you probably will not read this. but you are incredibaly inspirational. i have been going through a lot of down falls and sometimes it makes me want to give up. although im not a gymnast i am a lacrosse player. when i heard you say the sky is the limit you can do anything or go anywhere if you put ur mind to it on the morning show it inspired me greatly. just want to say you motivated me greatly and showed me that great things come to those who work hard.
